I've had my nails for 2 weeks now, and still going strong! I had one nail fall off since I did it in a rush, but it was really easy to peel off and replace. I love that it doesn't damage my nails the same way that salon nails do when I peel them off.
I have zero experience and my toenails look great. It has only been 4 days but so far so good.
The Gellies and Top Gel exceeded my expectations. I did my nails about 11 days ago now (only took me about 30 min to do) and they have worn perfectly - not a single chip, no lifting, no peeling. Super easy process and results are just like a salon gel manicure, if not better because my nails feel even harder/stronger with these. Only thing is that the Gellies and the gel top coat have a pretty strong chemical smell, but I don't think that can really be avoided in a good quality product.
After having gel polish done for years, I was very skeptical about the ease of application, and even MORE skeptical about durability. I have super-thin, weak nails. I was shocked at how long they stayed on! Honestly, they may have lasted longer than 2 weeks, but I wanted to change the color! Removal was a breeze!
I love these so much and can't wait to get more! They were fairly easy to apply (though a little more challenging when using my non dominant hand) and they look like a professional job. After a week of wear I needed to do a huge kitchen deep clean (hard core scrubbing the greasy stove top and washing up and storing ALL the baby bottles I don't need anymore) and they held up way better than expected. I did get a few chips but I just reapplied some of the gel topcoat and it stops the chips in their tracks. One of the nails chipped more than the others and I just trimmed it down and sealed with more gel polish so it's good as new. There's been no issues from the cuticle side of the nails which is great.
Before kids and the pandemic I loved going to get a nice gel polish at a nail salon but after my first was born the cost was too much and then after my second the pandemic hit. Even with things reopening I'm not comfortable going out so having an option to get salon looking nails at home was super intriguing!
My only "complaint" is that apparently I have tiny nails and I didn't think to cut down the two largest sizes so I am not able to get 2 manicures out of the first set (but I know better for next time). I'll definitely keep the extra one for accent nails when I get additional packs.
